Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz stepped in and ultimately acquired Jackson Jr. for three first-round picks, along with rookie guard Walter Clayton Jr. and forwards Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks, and Georges Niang.
At just 26 years old, Jaren Jackson Jr. has already made a name for himself as a two-time NBA All-Star and a former Defensive Player of the Year. This season, he showcased impressive stats, averaging 19.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from beyond the arc in 45 games for the Grizzlies.
After the trade of Jackson Jr. to the Jazz, and with the realization that Milwaukee was unlikely to part ways with Antetokounmpo, the Warriors made a strategic shift. They traded forward Jonathan Kuminga and guard Buddy Hield to the Atlanta Hawks, bringing Kristaps Porzingis into the fold.
